Zero Wins Best Animation at the Grand OFF Awards

What an exciting weekend its been for Zero. On Saturday night we picked up a couple of awards at the Bondi Short Film Festival, then at the same time Zero wins Best Animation at the "Grand OFF" - World of Independent Film Awards in Poland. Zero was amongst the final 6 nominated films in the Animation category, selected out of 895 shorts submitted this year. The Grand OFF awards are the most important event promoting independent cinema in Poland and one of the most significant initiatives of its kind all over the world.

Zero wins Best Script and Best Design at Bondi Short Film Festival

Director Christopher Kezelos and Producer Christine Kezelos Last night we attended the Bondi Short Film Festival where Zero picked up two awards; Best Script and Best Design! Now in it’s 10th year, the festival took place at the Bondi Pavillion in Sydney where it screened 14 amazing films. Thanks again to everyone involved in the production for helping Zero receive the success it has this year.

Zero Selected for Dawn Breakers Int. Film Festival

Zero has been selected to screen at the Dawn Breakers International Film Festival. Established in 2007, the festival's mission is to emphasise the spiritual unity of all humankind. The line-up includes 40 films across all categories including feature films, shorts, documentaries, animations, music videos, webcasts, television shows and experimental films.

Zero Wins ‘Best Short Film’ at Naples International Film Festival

We're very happy to announce that Zero has won 'Best Short Film' at the Naples International Film Festival. This signature film event in Southwest Florida ran from the 4th – 7th November 2010 and contained a program full of panels, Q&A sessions and special events. Many thanks to the judges who recognised our film and audience members who have given us wonderful feedback.

Zero to Screen at BAC! Barcelona International Festival of Contemporary Art

We're proud to announce Zero's first museum screening at Barcelona's International Festival of Contemporary Art. BAC!, incorporates various media, from murals to installations, contributed by galleries all over the world. The works are spread across several city venues but are united by the festival's yearly changing theme, this year it's "El Tiempo" ("Time").

Zero Selected for Bondi Short Film Festival

Zero Nominated for Australian Screen Sound Award

Earlier this month Zero's Composer Kyls Burtland was nominated for an APRA Screen Music Award, now the film's Sound Designer Brendan O'Brien gets a nod by being nominated for an Australian Screen Sound Award. This is the second acknowledgement Brendan has received for his work on Zero having won Best Achievement in Sound at Flickerfest back in January.

Zero Selected for the Etiuda&Anima Film Festival

We're pleased to announce that Zero has been selected for competition in Poland's oldest International Film Festival, the Etiuda&Anima. Organised in Kraków since 1994, the festival juxtaposes the achievements of students of film and art schools from all over the world, as well as works of professionals and independent producers.

Zero wins Best Animation at the 2010 ATOM Awards

We're very happy to announce that Zero has won the award for 'Best Animation' at the 2010 ATOM Awards. Now in its 28th year, the annual awards were hosted by Vince Colosimo at Melbourne's Plaza Ballroom on Saturday 23rd October and recognised excellence in over thirty categories of Film, Television, Animation and Multimedia (including video games).

Zero Selected for the Animated Dreams Film Festival

ZERO has been selected for competition in the 12th Animated Dreams Animation Film Festival, a sub-festival of the biggest annual film festival in Estonia - the Black Nights Film Festival.
